By proceeding with this application you acknowledge and accept the following:
· You have read, understood, and comply with the mentor requirements for the programme.
· You will provide accurate and up-to-date information in the registration and application form.
· The University reserves the right to check your and your mentoring partner’s credentials and to end the mentoring partnership at any time.
· You may end the mentoring partnership at any time. If the partnership is ended, you agree to inform your mentoring partner and the programme coordinator immediately.
· Your behaviour will be aligned with the University values (respect, responsibility, fairness, integrity and empathy) and will be ethical, professional and responsible at all times.
· You will respond promptly to contact from your mentoring partner and to requests for updates from the programme coordinator.
· You will contact the programme coordinator immediately if you feel uncomfortable with your mentoring partner’s behaviour or are concerned about their wellbeing or safety.
· In the event that you invite your mentoring partner to visit your workplace, you must advise them of relevant occupational health and safety procedures within your workplace.
· If you decide to introduce your mentoring partner to individuals within your personal network you will take reasonable steps to ensure that these individuals will protect the safety and wellbeing of your mentoring partner during any interactions.
· You must not offer or accept any monetary remuneration as a result of the mentoring partnership.
· Your name, contact details and information in the application form will be made available to the mentoring coordinator and your mentoring partner. Mentoring partners are asked to hold all information about you in strictest confidence.
· Your name, contact and employment details may be shared with other participants on the programme.
· You understand that the University has introduced mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, staff, and visitors to our campuses. Both under the mandate and the Red setting, all staff, students and visitors on campus or participating in face-to-face University activities offsite must be vaccinated. This includes in-person mentoring on the Alumni as Mentors programme.
· The information you provide is being collected for the purposes described in, and will be used in accordance with, the University's Privacy Notice (available at www.wgtn.ac.nz/site-info/privacy).
- Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
- Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
- Submit Content in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
- Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consent to do the same.
- Upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer or property of another.
- Download any file posted by another user of the Services that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally reproduced, displayed, performed, and/or distributed in such manner.
- Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Submission Tool specifically allows such messages.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others.
- You may participate in the Courses and/or receive a digital certificate only if you act in compliance with these Courses terms.
- Participation in the Courses and therefore accessing any online content and courses by anyone under the age of 13 is strictly prohibited.
- You are not eligible to participate in the Courses program if you are a resident of the regions that are prohibited by export controls and sanctions programs.
- You must take the relevant Courses through Chronus and/or if the Course offers a certificate, you might potentially be required to receive a passing score to obtain a valid Certificate. Each Certificate's validity term may differ.
- You will participate in the Courses program in a professional manner and will not allow any other individual to access your Chronus account or benefits. If the relevant Course requires you to pass an exam for Certificate, you will not receive any unauthorized assistance to pass the exam.
- The Courses may be offered by Chronus, or your employer or by other third parties. Chronus does not review or endorse the content or Courses of your employer or any third parties. Any Certificate may only be used to represent that you are acknowledged by Chronus or the applicable party for participating and completing courses in the Courses program and/or for passing an exam to obtain the Certificate.
- Chronus may discontinue the Courses program at any time in its sole discretion.
- Chronus will use your personal information that you provided for the participation of the Courses program in accordance with the Privacy Notice.
